1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using LetterReal ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service. These terms apply to all users, including free and paid accounts.

2. Description of Service

LetterReal is an AI-powered cover letter generation tool. We use large language models to help you create tailored cover letters based on your resume and job descriptions you provide. The generated content is a starting point — you are responsible for reviewing, editing, and ensuring the accuracy of any letter before sending it to an employer.

3. Your Content

You retain full ownership of the resume content and job descriptions you upload or paste into the Service. By using LetterReal, you grant us a limited license to process your content solely to generate your cover letter. We do not sell your data or use it to train AI models.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
• Upload content that infringes on others' intellectual property
• Attempt to reverse-engineer or scrape the Service
• Resell or redistribute generated content as a competing product
• Share account credentials or allow multiple users on a single account

5. Billing and Subscriptions

Paid plans (Starter and Pro) are billed monthly and renew automatically. You can cancel at any time from your account settings — cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period. Top Up credits are non-refundable and never expire. We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days' notice.

6. Refund Policy

We offer a full refund within 7 days of your first subscription payment if you are not satisfied. Contact us at support@letterreal.ca to request a refund. Refunds are not available after 7 days or for Top Up credits.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is." We do not guarantee that AI-generated cover letters will result in job interviews or employment. Cover letter effectiveness depends on many factors outside our control. We make no warranty that the Service will be uninterrupted or error-free.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, LetterReal shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 3 months prior to the claim.

9. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. We will notify you by email or by posting a notice on the Service. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
